Committees

Solicits and identifies groups in the community to award grants.  Usually meets in the Spring.  

 

This committee is a district committee to focus on the environment.  The big project in 2022-2023 is a bee pollinator highway throughout the district.   

 

Must have Grants training and participate in all the grants solicited for the club.  This could be District, International or Community grants. 

 

 Help members get and stay connected during the year.  Activities include dinners, networking events, activities during weekly meetings, and other opportunities as identified by the committee

 

Membership- 

Help in the membership process.   This could be attracting new members,  a new member mentor program, and member connections

 

Further promote and encourage our club as a Peace Builder club.   Solicited applications for Peace Fellows.   

 

Polio Plus- 

Help promote World Polio Day events.  Work with PI committee to promote Polio Plus within the club and community

 

Program- 

Meets once a quarter-  Responsible for schedule programs for our weekly meetings. 

 

Public Image- 

Helps create  Press Releases,  Provide support for our weekly newsletter (AppleSeed) and Website.   Create and Schedule social media posts.    

 

Rotary International- 

Help education and promote all the areas of service of Rotary International.   Devise a plan to get every Rotarian to donate to RI every year.    Coordinate Paul Harris Fellows and schedule to have them awarded

 

Sergeant of Arms- 

This group is what makes our meetings run smoothly. Help set up and tear down of meeting banners, name tags and signs.  Greet guests and take money for raffles or other items.    Does not have to volunteer every week! 

 

Service Projects- 

Help find and track worthy service projects in our community.  Participate in the execution of the service projects.  

 

Youth Services- 

This is all areas of Youth Services.   Early Act, Interact and Youth Exchange. This committee is a multi club committee with Sunrise, Confluence and Wenatchee. 

 

Direct the activities of the WRF to raise money for scholarship and monitor other fundraising activities for the club. 

 

This is a committee that you might know by the name of HANWASH.   Currently projects include Haiti but could cover more areas depending on funding.
