About Us
Gary Provo

We are a group of like-minded individuals who choose to make a difference in the world. Whether it is for our local community, district, or an international effort like Polio Plus, Rotarians are always up for the task of helping and giving back to the community.
The Wenatchee club has established a century-long track record of successfully fulfilling the noble ideals of Rotary’s founding motto “Service Above Self”. Current members value that legacy deeply and are devoted to keeping it alive and well.
We are firm believers that everyone has gifts and talents to contribute. If you want to be part of this life-changing movement, come join us at a meeting anytime You will readily see that it is the collective contributions of our members that produce the club’s results.
We embrace member Marriah Thornock's theory of finding people who know more than we do in a specific area of knowledge. When the Public Image Committee is talking about websites, Marriah is ready to contact people in her professional network to guide and educate.
Or how about Mark Kulaas who is forever changed by a music instructor who took the time to invite Mark to a concert…complete with the offer to stay at his house. Because of this invitation, Mark attended EWU and started his path to an incredible career.
Meet Russ Speidel. He saw a need for Ukraine refugees who were relocating to our community. Russ jumped into action and with the support of a local team raised over $20,000 to get it done.
Other members like Michelle Shermer, Kelli Scott, and Ken Robinson are on a mission to promote peace in our valley and the world.
Club member Natalie Williams is determined to bring glass recycling into the Wenatchee Valley. She is working with local and statewide groups to make it happen.
Our Wenatchee Rotary Foundation has long been investing in educational opportunities for local students and has established a remarkable record for producing life-long, life-enhancing results.
These are but a small sample of the incredible work our members do to make the world a better place. We are not just a club, we are a society in action. If you are action-minded and looking for a way to make a difference in your community, Wenatchee Rotary may be for you. We need your thoughts, talents, and strengths. The best part? We achieve more as a group of like-minded individuals than alone.
We invite you to attend a meeting and discover how Rotary can enhance your and others' lives. Become a Rotarian and help us “Create Hope in the World”.
