THOMAS L. (Tom) McNAIR

Tom McNair, a native of North Carolina, is a 1972 graduate of the University of Washington.

While living in Bremerton in 1973 he became a life insurance agent with New York Life and subsequently this company asked him to move to Wenatchee in 1981 as sales manager of their local office. Tom left NYL in 1983 and opened his own insurance office here. Today his main company affiliation is with Massachusetts Mutual Life. A chartered life underwriter(CLU) and chartered financial consultant (ChFC), Tom specializes in life insurance, estate and charitable gift planning, tax-sheltered investments and retirement plans.

Tom was our club president during 1996-97 and is both a Paul Harris and Paul Scea Fellow. Tom enjoys playing trombone with Equinox Jazz Ensemble and the Wenatchee Big Band. He also plays guitar and leads one of the St. Joseph Church choirs. Skiing with fellow Rotarians is also one of his pleasures.

He is married to Mary Ann. Their son, Ben, lives and works in Seattle and daughter, Abra, is a junior at Wenatchee High School.
