MALL BOYD

Mall Boyd has been a member of Wenatchee Rotary since 1989. She was President of the club in '97-'98 and has 8 years of perfect attendance.

She was born in Breslau, Germany in 1944 after her parents had moved from Estonia to Germany. At the age of 6, in 1944, she moved with her parents to Grand Haven, Michigan and became a citizen of the United States many years ago.

Mall is married to Tom Boyd of Leavenworth, Washington, who is also a Rotary club Past-President. Their son, Michael, is a graduate of the Univ. of Washington and now works in Denver. Their daughter, Katie, is a Senior at the University of Washington.

She was employed at the Wenatchee Valley Clinic in 1986 and soon thereafter became Director of Marketing for the 160 doctor clinic.

Living in Leavenworth, every winter day starts with cross-country skiing, before driving to Wenatchee for work. Hikes and bicycling replace the skis during other seasons.

She is an avid reader of every type of literature.
