GENE ANDERSON
Gene has been a Rotarian since 1965, starting at Chelan, then Wenatchee North, Yakima Southwest and now, Wenatchee Rotary where he is a Paul Harris Fellow and a Paul Scea Fellow.
His degree in Construction Management from WSU in 1957 prepared him for Rotary construction projects, including leading the "Lincoln Park Children's Play Village" project and, currently, the construction of the maintenance building and railroad station for the Neil Saunders Miniature Railroad on Wenatchee's waterfront.
His interest in youth is further demonstrated by his participation in Rotary's "Lunch Buddy" program, in the "Big Brother Program" and in chairing the City of Wenatchee's Park and Recreation Board, where he organized the construction of the skateboard/rollerblade park.
He is retired from "Express Personnel" and is the owner of River City Spice, Tea and Coffee Company at 110 N. Wenatchee Avenue.
He has two daughters and three grandhildren.
